Coastal multifit Lifejacket (SMA Product # : LJ310) This a lifejacket & not a Personal Flotation Device(PFD).It is approved by the Marine Safety Victoria as a lifejacket. It has more than 10 kilograms (22 Lb) of buoyancy. This jacket will turn an unconsciousness person to a safe & face up position in less than 5 seconds. It is a well balanced & stable lifejacket.& also provide good lateral & rear support. This lifejacket has 3 sections - the collar, body & the waist.The outer fabric used is warp knitted polyester with the highest colour fastness to light & seawater of 6-7 on a Blue Wool Standard & Grey scale respectively.This fabric provides strength and also good water permeability. The foam used is closed cell foam in a block form. This Lifejacket can be worn from either side & the straps can be tied to together also from either direction.Written & pictorial Instructions on how to wear the lifejacket are clearly depicted on both sides. It comes with a whistle, solas approved reflective tapes on both sides & where required a water activated light. | Closed Cell Foam Lifejacket: SOLAS approved (SMA Product # : LJ320) This is a Lifejacket & has more than 17 Kg(38 lb)of buoyancy. It has the ability to turn an unconscious person to safe inclined angle in less than 5 seconds. This lifejacket is for ocean travelling use. This is a good,very well balanced,stable & secure lifejacket & has 3 sections like the coastal lifejacket above.This jacket will provide very good lateral & rear support. The fabric & foam used are similar to the coastal lifejacket.. It can be worn from either side. Tying instructions are illustrated on the lifejackets. It has a whistle & solas approved reflective tapes on both sides.. If required it can come with a solas approved water activated light.
